About Aero Club Bar

In north Little Italy you’ll find Aero Club Bar, a virtually perfect dive bar…if such a thing could be measured. But if we were measuring by friendly bar-tenders, cozy seating, dim lighting, and classic beer and cocktails with a specialty in whiskey, then Aero Club Bar nails it.

A good neighborhood dive bar attracts all walks of life, and here you’ll find locals in their house clothes, couples dressed in their finest date night attire, and every one in between. Inside there is plenty of bar seating, booths, cocktail tables, and a small outside patio, plenty of room to mingle with drink-in-hand. Yes, there are pool tables. Hungry? Outside is Medium Foods food truck for something to pair with your whiskey.

What’s the secret? An amazing arcade named Dyno Bar is sharing the same space.

Behind The Counter

Created by a local female pilot name Marianne Profit in 1947, this place was first a watering hole for pilots coming in to San Diego. Under new ownership, the bar has put a strong focus on whiskey (serving over 1000 types), while still maintaining the camaraderie and neighborhood feel you’d expect at a place like this.
