The Outpost by Valley Farm is a mountain getaway just over 1 hour from San Diego in the Mount Laguna Recreation Area.

The Outpost offers rustic cabin rentals among the beautiful pines and meadows of Mount Laguna, which are a great staging area for your hiking or mountain biking adventures in the nearby Cleveland National Forest, with direct access to the famed Pacific Crest Trail.

The Outpost restaurant is open for lunch Wednesday’s through Sunday’s. And on Saturday’s and Sunday’s only, they offer a hearty breakfast menu as well as a full on BBQ menu with house smoked meats and all the fixin’s – perfect for fueling up after a long hike, or if you’re just tired of cooking around a campfire. Wash it all down with cold craft beers, and you’ve got yourself a nice little weekend.
