Pure Project Balboa Park is a large modern marble-lined brewery just outside the entrance to Balboa Park. Their location outside Balboa Park is where we would go every day if we lived in one of the luxury high rises nearby.

Behind The Counter

Pure Project was opened in 2016 by two San Diego locals, Jesse Pine and Mat Robar, alongside head brewer Winslow Sawyer, and it quickly became a San Diego favorite. Pure Project is a brewery with a mission, donating 1% of all their sales to environmental causes, including local causes like restoring Balboa Park.
