Bankers Hill

Sophisticated, swanky, and walkable – Bankers Hill is the neighborhood just west of Balboa Park with restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops nestled at the top of a hill with lovely views to the San Diego Bay and beyond. Just off the busy parts of Bankers Hill sit some of the nicest houses in San Diego – beautiful and ornate Victorian homes dating to the founding of Bankers Hill as an enclave for the wealthy to sit above the rest of San Diego and look down on them, literally and metaphorically. Today Bankers Hill is accessible, welcoming, and a lovely place to spend a day after visiting Balboa Park.
