About Subterranean Coffee Boutique

Subterranean Coffee is a cozy cafe in North Park that feels like a throwback to old college coffee shops with their eclectic seating (think sofas, comfy chairs, tables of varying heights and sizes, no two pieces of furniture the same), hipster baristas playing solid hipster music (probably on vinyl), a wide assortment of food, and of course, good coffee.

Subterranean Coffee is a place you want to go when it’s winter and you are writing a poem about the despair you feel in your darkest hours while wearing a fedora and possibly a scarf. You could smoke a clove cigarette outside if you smoked (don’t smoke). If only it snowed in San Diego, this place would be perfection.
