About Swan Bar

Swan Bar in North Park is a true hidden gem. It is a moody cocktail bar with some of the friendliest bartenders around. It has a tiny menu, but serves low key one of the best burgers in San Diego. In fact, Swan Bar is low key in every aspect – it even sits hidden behind a wood paneled wall with only a small neon sign outside to guide the way in.

The lighting at Swan Bar is low, the booths are burgundy and the tables are ornate metal stands. It feels like a fancy restaurant without the pomp and circumstance. It also feels like a dive bar without all the attitude. The front bar is snug and boisterous, while they have a back patio with booths and a bit more space. The place fills up on weekends, but it never feels overwhelming and it always feels welcoming.

Behind The Counter

Swan Bar is owned by local San Diegan Abel Kaase. He grew up in OB and has owned a few restaurants and bars around San Diego over the years.
