About Grand Ole BBQ
Grand Ole BBQ is a barbecue joint in North Park serving up authentic Texas-style barbecue. After ordering at the window, they have a massive, covered outdoor area with picnic tables that is seat yourself, as well as a small indoor area by the bar. Grand Ole is a very kid friendly restaurant, with lots of space for kids to run around in the open area and bigger groups of adults will find plenty of seating. The beer menu at Grand Ole is also top notch.
They have another large location in El Cajon that frequently hosts live music and events. The whole place is music-focused with lots of references to the Grand Ole Opry.

Behind The Counter
Grand Ole BBQ y Asado is owned by Andy Harris, a San Diego native. Harris used to be a tour manager for rock bands, firing up his smoker for the crews — his food was so successful he decided to open a restaurant to bring Texas barbecue to San Diego, teaming up with Chef Ami Cisneros to elevate the concept. Hence the music themes.
